Accreditation


Harrington College of Design is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (which does not have any regional accreditation). Owing to this, some regionally accredited schools do not readily accept their credits for transfer or their degrees for graduation courses are not recognized. This college is also an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.


The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design offered by Harrington College of Design is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. However, the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design is not accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation.



Admissions Process


The Harrington College of Design allows applications only from students with the aptitude for creativity. These students need to have a high school diploma and previous training in creativity or art is not a prerequisite. The college offers Student Exchange program with the Rotterdam College of Design in the Netherlands to introduce the students to various interior design experience. For this program, students need to be full-time seniors with average grade of B or higher along with recommendations from the faculty.
